Coca-Cola has signed on as the exclusive beverage provider of LakePoint and will launch its first-ever “Powerade Sports Safety Hydration Lab,” where they will work to prevent concussions and dehydration in athletes. “We think we have a chance to truly educate athletes, their families and their coaches on these critical sports issues,” said Pamela Stewart, vice president within Southeast region sales for Coca-Cola Refreshments. “We will take a role in the community on behalf of families, and on these issues we will make sure we have a voice.”
